The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce was
established in 1946 by a group of 12 area businessmen. In
1971, with great foresight, they hired an ad man from New
York, and recent convert to Bucks County, as Executive Director
- Don F. Whitney.
With an outsider's eye and an insider's love of the region,
Don F. Whitney, forged over the next 27 years a unique vision
of the Chamber, growing the Chamber to over 2,600 business
members.
Today, with memberships of over 2,600 and growing, the
chamber is second only in the region after the greater Philadelphia
Chamber of Commerce. ( 1999 Philadelphia Business Journal).
Strong alliances of business and culture, profit and non-profit,
established and emerging businesses provide the dynamics
of Chamber membership.
To do business in Bucks County, membership in the Central
Bucks Chamber of Commerce is an essential and powerful tool.
